Billings, Montana – All American Pharmaceutical & Natural Food Corporation (AAP) is writing the next chapter in its decades-long history of innovation. The company today announced a major expansion of its Billings manufacturing campus, coupled with a groundbreaking clinical research initiative focused on its proprietary ingredient, KarboLyn®.
This All American Pharmaceutical expansion represents a $650,000 investment in new equipment and staffing at the company’s 2376 Main Street facility, significantly increasing its capacity to serve brand partners with the rigorous quality and scientific backing for which it is known. The growth is supported by a grant from the Big Sky Economic Development Authority (EDA), reinforcing the project’s positive impact on the local economy.
Investing in Montana Manufacturing
This expansion represents more than just new machinery—it’s a vote of confidence in Montana’s manufacturing workforce and our ability to compete on a global stage. The new equipment will increase our production capacity, improve efficiency, and allow us to take on more complex formulation projects for brands seeking a true manufacturing partner.
With this growth, we expect to add new positions at our Billings facility, further contributing to the local economy and strengthening our team of dedicated professionals who take pride in every product that leaves our doors.
Groundbreaking Clinical Research on KarboLyn®
Alongside the physical expansion, All American Pharmaceutical is advancing the science of nutrition with a new clinical study investigating our proprietary ingredient, KarboLyn®. The study will examine KarboLyn®’s impact on glucose response during aerobic activity in normal and pre-diabetic adults.
This research is particularly significant given the growing prevalence of pre-diabetic conditions in the United States and worldwide. If you’ve followed our work, you know that KarboLyn® was originally developed as an advanced carbohydrate for athletes, designed to provide sustained energy without the crashes associated with simple sugars. This new study explores whether those same properties may offer benefits for the millions of individuals concerned with healthy glucose metabolism.
World-Class Scientific Leadership
To ensure the highest standards of clinical rigor, the study will be headed by Dr. Thomas Harman, a former Family Medicine Department chairman at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Harman brings decades of experience in clinical research and a deep understanding of metabolic health. His leadership on this project underscores the significance of the research and our commitment to producing data that meets the highest medical standards.
Supporting Growth Through Strategic Grants
The expansion and research initiatives are being supported by a grant application to the Big Sky Economic Development Trust Fund under Category 1, seeking $180,000 to offset expansion costs. This funding, combined with our own investment, allows us to accelerate growth while maintaining the financial discipline that has kept All American Pharmaceutical strong for over three decades.
The Big Sky Economic Development Authority’s approval of our grant application is a testament to the strength of our plans and the positive impact this expansion will have on the Billings community.
