Employees are paid weekly every Friday and can enroll in group health insurance—50% covered by AAP—starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment. After six months, employees are eligible for our 401(k) plan, which offers a 50% company match up to 4%. Paid vacation time increases with tenure: 40 hours after one and two years, 80 hours after three and four years, and 120 hours annually after five years. All production employees wear provided uniforms and personal protective equipment in a clean work environment.

AAP has been in our current location since 2006 and has an average of 75 employees, a majority of whom hold production-related positions. We have employees who have worked with us for nearly 20 years, with an average seniority of 7 years.

  • Office Assistant – Purchasing & Inventory

    This position will provide general organization and day-to-day office support in the areas related to Inventory, purchasing, internal purchase order coordination and follow up with accounting to verify pending status or final receipt of products & supplies.

    At least 2 yrs of related general office experience, excellent in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook.  Previous work experience in inventory management and purchasing or supply order management a plus.

    Although office-related, this position will work in the production manufacturing environment and be required to wear full PPE and scrub uniforms.

    Job Type: Full Time, $18/hour, Day Shift – 7am-4pm (1 position)

  • Production Packaging Technician – Small Powders

    The Powder Packaging Department uses equipment and processes to package loose dry powder product and prepares the finished product for warehouse and distribution. 

    At least 1 yr production-related work experience.  Must be able to routinely lift 40 – 60 pounds & stand & move within the production line for the majority of shift. Must have ability to safely multi-task & perform tasks consistently and accurately per training & SOPs.

    Job Type: Full Time, $18/hour, Day Shift – 7am-4pm (1 position)

  • Chemist

    The Chemist provides testing and verification of the purity, potency, & quality of production manufacturing processes, ingredients and finished goods produced in our facility.  This position works in the Analysist area of the QC Laboratory.

    Associates or BS in a laboratory science or professional training and at least 2 years of related experience with Micro HPLC, GC-MS, or ICP-Oes instrumentation and method development.  This position requires the physical ability to routinely lift 40 pounds in the testing of key raw ingredients used in our manufacturing process.

    Job Type: Full Time, Starting at $23/hour, Day Shift – 7am-4pm (1 position)

    • 5 days per week – Monday thru Friday
  • QC Laboratory Manager

    The Quality Control Manager ensures that products meet company and industry standards by developing and implementing quality systems, leading QC teams, conducting inspections, identifying defects, and driving continuous process improvement for efficiency and customer satisfaction working across departments to integrate quality throughout the production and manufacturing processes.

    Job Type: Full Time, Salary Depending Upon Experience, Day Shift – 7am-4pm (1 position)

    • 5 days per week – Monday thru Friday

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, Follow & Implement: quality control procedures, tests, and overall Quality Management Systems (QMS).
    • Oversee Production: Supervise staff and monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.
    • Inspect & Test: Coordinate product inspections and testing at various stages to detect errors and non-compliance.
    • Ensure Compliance: Verify adherence to internal policies and external regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO).
    • Improve Processes: Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects, and recommend corrective actions for improvement.
    • Report & Communicate: Document production issues, generate reports, and collaborate with management, production, and clients.
    • Manage quality and laboratory team

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree minimum(Chemistry, Quality Control, Quality Management, etc)
    • Experience in manufacturing or production environments
    • Laboratory experience running HPLC, GC, ICP, FTNIR, etc.
  • QC Laboratory Analyst 1

    • Must have some experience running one or more of the following instruments.  GC, LC, IR, ICP.

  • QC Laboratory Analyst 2

    The Quality Control Laboratory Analyst 2 provides testing and verification of the purity, potency, & quality of production manufacturing processes, ingredients and finished goods produced in our facility. 

    • Will process and prepare samples for testing.
    • Will Conduct tests and analyze samples.
    • Must be organized & a good record keeper with experience with Word & Excell
    • Must have experience in running one or more of the following instruments:  LC, GC, ICP, IR
    • Must have a BA in Chemistry or some related science
    • Must have some method development experience.

    Job Type: Full Time, Starting at $23/hour, Day Shift – 7am-4pm (1 position)

    • 5 days per week – Monday thru Friday
  • Production Manufacturing Technician – Blending

    The Blending Department uses equipment to tumble & mix pre-measured dry powdered product to prepare products for manufacturing and packaging.

    At least 1 year of production-related work experience. Must be able to routinely lift 60-100 pounds & stand & move within the production line for the majority of the shift. Must have the ability to safely multi-task & perform tasks consistently and accurately per training & SOPs.

    Job Type: Full Time, $19/hour, Day Shift – 7am-4pm (1 position)

    • 5 days per week – Monday thru Friday
  • Production Manufacturing Technician – Pre-Weigh

    The Pre-Weigh Department requires attention to detail and comfort using basic math and using scales and equipment to calculate weights, measure dry powdered product, and prepare product for manufacturing and packaging.

    At least 1 yr related production work experience.  Must be able to routinely lift 60 – 100 pounds & stand & move within the production line for the majority of shift. Must have ability to safely multi-task & perform tasks consistently and accurately per training & SOPs.

    Job Type: Full Time, $19/hour, Day Shift – 7am-4pm (1 position)
